Make Every Paper Count

How to get the most from a past paper

  1. 01

Sit it like the real thing

1 hour 30 minutes, a quiet room, no notes. Use a calculator only on calculator papers.

  2. 02

Mark it with the mark scheme

Be strict. Method marks only count if the working is written down, just as in the exam.

  3. 03

    Read the examiners’ report

It shows where most students dropped marks on each question, and what a full-mark answer looked like.

  4. 04

Fix the gaps, then go again

Revisit the topics behind every lost mark in the Revision Hub, then try the next paper.
